This morning I had the privilidge of going to the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer kick-off breakfast.  This is a cuase that is very close to my heart, and I am always so inspired when I go to events like this.

I love being surrounding by people who support and are passionate about something in the same way you are.  Hearing stories of survival, loss, and hope is amazing, and I feel so lucky to have outlets like this to be involved and help in any way I can.

I was shocked when they asked survivors to stand up and the room suddenly seemed full of people who have had breast cancer themselves.  And they were women of ALL ages!  Young and old.

I am so excited to be getting a team together for a second year for this event and hopefully raise some money!
