I am a public relations, communications, and marketing integrator who has a passion for learning, consuming, and communicating that can’t be satiated. I believe that communication is at the core of all things. When done right, it can ignite change, sell products, spark ideas, strengthen relationships, and even change history. To me, for these reasons, having the opportunity to create someone’s message or tell a story is an awesome responsibility. Whether it be for a brand, a global corporation, or a population in need, I have the duty to be an ethical leader, creative genius, idea generator, content creator, and any number of other things. I can’t imagine waking up to do anything else. Life is short, but it is amazing! Take chances, be creative, work hard, lead with your heart, always be kind, give back, and never stop learning. My goal in life is to always love what I do, and try to handle every situation with grace and humor. P.S. Go Spartans! 30 Day Running Challenge: Day 12

How has running changed you or your life?

I am way more confident and feel so much more accomplished!  I love feeling like I can take on anything because I just ran X amount of miles.  What could be hard during a day after a 20 mile run?

It is sad to say on some level, but I just feel like I have more worth as a person because I have something that I do that I am so proud of, and I do it just for me 🙂

Doing this for sure!

fitvillains:

Came across this interesting WOD from the Spartan Race peeps! It’s ONLY 15 minutes and very SNEAKY: by round 10, your plank may be a-wobblin’. 🙂

This is great as a workout on its own, a warmup or as a ‘finisher’ to your strength routine. It’s 15 minutes total.

10 Rounds

A. 45 seconds jumping rope (high knees, jacks, burpees, running etc. Any cardio will do, at about. Level 7 on a scale of 1-10 for intensity).
B. 45 seconds plank.

Timers: 20 intervals of 45 seconds.
