Saturday’s workout didn’t happen:
Paul came back from walking Max saying, “I think Max broke his leg!”.
Apparently, they were running up a hill and Max yelped and fell over his front right paw. It clearly wasn’t broken, but we headed to the emergency vet just to be safe.
What felt like hours and a completely healthy dog later, we were free to go. And the whole day just kind of crapped out from there. By crapped out, I mean watched football…
And then we were headed out to celebrate Halloween…

Not the greatest job I have ever done with prioritizing, but what can ya do?
On to good news: I am back to intermitten fasting for at least 5 days a week, and am psyched for a hardcore strength training session tonight!

Today’s workout:
I have designed a great workout for today that will hopefully kick my ass.
A strong warmup, a killer metabolic finisher, and lots of lifting fun in between.

My body hurts in the best/worst way
It feels so great to be back in the gym. I got my ass handed to me during a strength training session today. I felt like my hamstrings and abs were going to explode out of my body.
It kind of sucked because, after a month off, I was not at the level I am used to. I was spent, tank completely empty, where as I feel like before I could have rocked it harder. But I will get it back.
It was just great to be sweating so hard working, what felt like, every muscle in my body!
Tomorrow is a run day 🙂

Had an amazing, ass-kicking workout at 6 this morning, a great day at work, and a 2 mile run this evening.
I feel great!
I have scheduled my strength training class for tomorrow night after work, and I will just keep it rolling like this 🙂
After a month off, it felt really great to be back in the gym…in that shitty, “I’m dying” type of way.

I have been up since 3 and I can’t sleep…
I am too tired to be productive, and too awake to sleep. I hate that! So now I am just here pondering life’s deepest questions like: how can my baby girl, Peyton, eat her body weight in cat food every day and still weigh six pounds? What am I going to get Paul for Christmas (and when am I going to get my holiday wardrobe in order)? And who let Hilary Duff on “Gossip Girl”?
See, being up this late/early with nothing to occupy your mind is damaging to the psyche.
